Heidi Aguiar Licata, DVM
Dr. Heidi Aguiar Licata has practiced medicine as a general practitioner at Suburban Animal Hospital since December 2007. Prior to joining the Suburban medical team, she practiced in Brockport from 2003 to 2007.
A native of Fall River, MA, Dr. Aguiar Licata attended the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1999. She continued her veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
Acupuncture and exotic animal medicine are just a few of Dr. Aguiar Licata's many professional interests. She has completed continuing education courses in veterinary acupuncture and completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society course in 2006.
In her spare time, Dr. Aguiar Licata enjoys running, bicycling and horseback riding, among other hobbies. Her home is filled with pets and she enjoys the companionship of her five dogs, three cats, horse, goat and iguana.
