Kathleen Hall, DVM

Dr. Kathleen Hall Originally from Portland, CT, Dr. Kathleen Hall has cared for pets at Suburban Animal Hospital as a general practitioner since 1988. Prior to coming to Suburban Animal Hospital, she practiced medicine at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital from 1985 to 1988.

Dr. Hall received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1982. She continued her veterinary education at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Hall then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery from 1984-1985 at the New Haven Central Hospital in New Haven, CT.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine are among Dr. Hall's many professional interests. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and certified in veterinary Chinese herbal medicine by the Chi Institute and the China National Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Hall is a member of the Genessee Valley Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncturists.

Outside the hospital, she most enjoys spending her free time with her family and her pets, cats Merry and Zippy and a Boxer named Echo. Reading, quilting and spending time outdoors are also among her hobbies.
